La Paz Celebrates Earth Day 2008!

La Paz celebrated a week of Earth Day activities!  Across grade levels students prepared and planted Guanacaste and Malinche trees, k-3rd grade organized a beach cleanup, while 4-10th grade visited El Centro Verde: A center for sustainable living. 

A representative from the Costa Rican Ecological Blue Flag Association visits La Paz following the school's inscription in the program.
